Laser Operator - Training Provided!

Our Company Mastercut Technologies in Burleigh Heads, specializes in signs, laser cutting and precision part fabrication, and we are currently looking for a Laser operator to assist our great team! We currently have a casual position available Monday to Thursday for 30-35 hours per week, with flexible hours to suit the right candidate! Permanency to be offered to the right candidate,.

Role Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain the state of the art Laser Cutter.

Material selection and loading the Laser

Reading some basic workshop drawings to check the dimensions of the final product

Light sanding, measurement and packing of small laser cut parts.

Factory hand duties and providing general assistance to production.

We’re Looking for:

Previous experience in Laser cutting or CNC operations preferred but not essential

Previous experience with reading workshop drawings advantageous

A Positive 'Can-Do' Attitude: Bring your enthusiasm and make an impact!

Willingness to learn new skills in a hands-on environment.

Focus on safe work practices.

Ability to problem solve if needed.
