Programmed are currently looking for skilled operators for our national client for a meat processing site located in Heathwood

Positions are available for machine operators, packers, knife hands, bandsaw operators and general hands

The Roles:

• 12 hour shifts for AM (rotating roster, work 7 day shifts per fortnight)
• 8 hours shifts for PM (4pm-12am Mon - Fri)

• Packing, labelling and weighing
• Operation of various food production machines including but not limited to Band Saw, Cruster, Mixer/Grinder, Graselli, Vemag Mince & Alginate etc
• Working in food production environment handling raw meat products such as pork, lamb & beef
• Manual handling where required
• Quality Assurance
• General Hygiene / cleaning processes
• Day & Afternoon Shift on offer
• Complete onsite uniform including boots, provided
• Onsite parking and onsite canteen for your convenience
• Full training provided

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in manufacturing/ process environment is mandatory
• Similar experience for your desired role type (eg machine operation, packing etc)
• Food processing/ meat works experience highly desirable
• Willing to work within a cold room environment - 7 degrees
• Willing to work with raw meat products (beef, lamb & pork)
• Must have excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to work within a team-based environment
• Ability to provide proof of working rights in Australia
