About the Role

Enterprise Architect – Financial Services Transformation

A leading financial services organisation is investing heavily in modernising its platforms and systems. We’re seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to drive future-state technology architecture, uplift governance frameworks, and support major digital, cloud, and customer experience initiatives.

This is a newly created role offering genuine scope to influence technology direction at an enterprise level, reporting directly to the Head of Architecture..

The Role

• Define enterprise-wide target architectures and roadmaps across digital, data, integration, and cloud platforms;
• Shape solution design standards and ensure alignment of IT projects with strategic business outcomes;
• Lead the establishment of architecture governance processes, including setting up an Architecture Review Board;
• Provide strategic advice on emerging technologies, integration strategies, and best practices; and
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to embed architecture standards and guide project delivery.

Skills and Experience

• Proven Enterprise Architecture experience within large, complex organisations;
• Strong understanding of digital platforms, customer engagement systems, and omnichannel architecture strategies;
• Solid background in financial services, lending, insurance, or other regulated sectors;
• Experience building architecture frameworks, operating models, and governance structures;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the business; and
• TOGAF or cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are highly regarded.
