The Organisation

Our client is a national organisation, committed to improving the lives of children and young people based in remote communities. With a strong focus on collaboration and empowerment, they operate programs and events that drive awareness, support community-led initiatives, and champion the importance of education and access. The team are passionate and dedicated, united by a shared vision to make a meaningful difference to future generations.

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, we are seeking a dynamic and autonomous FP&A Manager to help shape the financial future of the organisation. You will lead financial planning processes, deliver high-quality analysis and reporting, and provide insights to drive strategic decision-making. Partnering closely with Finance, Marketing, and Fundraising teams, you will support growth, sustainability, and mission alignment through detailed analysis of fundraising performance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial systems implementation.

Your responsibilities will include:

Manage the annual budget cycle and lead quarterly reforecasting, developing financial models to support scenario planning and long-range forecasting

Deliver strategic insights through variance analysis, KPI tracking, and ad hoc financial modelling, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for cost optimisation

Prepare clear, concise monthly reporting packages — including budget vs actuals, variance analysis, and narrative insights for the Board — while ensuring an accurate month-end close and timely financial reporting

Partner with Fundraising and Marketing teams to set targets, evaluate campaign ROI, and provide financial insights to support planning, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Analyse donor and campaign performance trends to inform revenue forecasting and identify opportunities to strengthen fundraising strategies.

Lead the design, selection, and implementation of new financial planning, budgeting, and reporting systems
