The Opportunity

Parkwood Medical Centre is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Medical Receptionist /2iC to join our engaging team. This is a part-time position based in Parkwood, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the daily operations of medical reception, including booking appointments, handling patient enquiries, and managing administrative tasks.

Day to day management, direction and operation of the reception desk.

Billing accuracy, particularly in Medicare batching and rejection resubmissions.

Assisting PM with Quality Improvement, and other practice management activities, as required.

Providing exceptional customer service to our patients, ensuring a positive and efficient experience and collaborating with the wider practice team to ensure the smooth running of the Practice.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical reception or administrative role, (supervising or managing staff desirable)

Flexible and adaptable, with ability to work at least 3 days a week.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with patients and colleagues

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in the use of medical software (Best Practice) and standard office applications

Knowledge of Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS)
