About the role

Hilton Garden Inn Albany is seeking a part-time Kitchen Steward to join our team in Albany, WA 6330. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen, ensuring our chefs have the tools and equipment they need to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

What you'll be doing

Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces

Stocking and organising the kitchen, ensuring supplies and inventory are well-maintained

Washing and drying pots, pans, dishes, and other kitchen items

Assisting the kitchen team with any additional tasks as needed

Adhering to all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or in a similar role within the hospitality or food service industry

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods

A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
