As the Aquatics programs Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the direction and day-to-day operations of Aquatic Programs including but not limited to instructor/teacher management, class supervision, program efficiency and customer service delivery. You will drive innovation in aquatic program design and delivery, and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, coordination, and implementation of aquatic programs, including Swim School, across City of Parramatta facilities.
- Oversee recruitment, training, rostering, and performance assessment of staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and teamwork.
- Develop, implement, review, and evaluate industry-standard policies and procedures for all aquatic programs.
- Assist with grant applications, manage procurement within budget, and ensure cost-effective operations aligned with the annual Management Plan.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, coordinate program promotion with the marketing team, and handle customer relations and feedback efficiently.
About you
We are looking for someone with:
- AUSTSWIM, Royal Life Saving or Swim Australia Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
- AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics
- Current resuscitation certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong background in program and service delivery, including managing, revising, and developing new programs.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately handle and reconcile tills at the end of shifts.
- Proactively identify and manage safety hazards and prepare high-quality reports and correspondence.
- Skilled in marketing and promoting services, with strong communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution abilities.
- Proven leadership in handling difficult clients, solving problems efficiently, and working harmoniously within a team environment.

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $101,563 to $111,820 plus 11.5% Superannuation.
