About the opportunity
The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting education coordination, planning, administration and delivery of the full suite of Sydney Health Executive Education courses and programs. The Program Coordinator has a customer facing role and will work in conjunction with the learning design team, marketing team, academics, affiliates, partner organisations and other key stakeholders to ensure the education programs provide a premium customer and education experience. The position applies program and project management experience and skills to determine appropriate processes and guidelines to ensure the education service and outcomes are met. The position has the discretion to make day to day decisions within program areas, applying knowledge and experience of course delivery practices.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- provide full range of program coordination for specific suite of courses and programs, acting as the main contact for academics, facilitators and participants
- provide a full range of administrative support to courses and activities including the maintenance of support systems such as website, registration, managing participant payments, calendar, information collection from facilitators and presenters; information collection from participants, maintaining data security,
- organise all logistical arrangements (travel/accommodation/venue) for courses and program, obtaining supplier quotes/ordering and other administration requirements
- provide feedback to the manager and Sydney Health Executive leadership team on course evaluations in order to improve the educational experience of participants
- develop and manage internal and external relationships
- Build rapport and business relationships across the faculty to effectively manage stakeholders
- contributes to the development of the Sydney Health Executive Education unit through continuous improvement and adoption of new initiatives.
About you
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work
- demonstrated effective liaison and interpersonal skills and ability to develop networks and constructive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to support key initiatives and activities
- excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes
- excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with a broad range of people, together with a strong client service focus
- high level written skills with a demonstrated ability to write reports and prepare correspondence and briefing material to support management decision making.
