Are you passionate about crafting high-end, custom new homes? We’re looking for a Residential Construction Manager to join our team at Dawson Constructions QLD, to assist with delivering one-of-a-kind luxury residences. We are a family run residential building company based on the Gold Coast that specialises in building high-end architecturally designed homes. In this pivotal role, you’ll support the Builder directly and work closely with our experienced onsite Foremen and Office team to bring unique architectural visions to life—on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Your Role Will Include:

Supporting the Builder in overseeing all stages of custom home construction

Coordinating day-to-day activities across multiple active sites

Assisting and mentoring Foremen, ensuring site safety, build quality, and workflow efficiency

Liaising with clients, architects, designers, and premium suppliers to maintain excellence throughout

Managing schedules, material deliveries, and subcontractor coordination

Assist with contracts administration and boost efficiencies through new template and system introduction where necessary.

Troubleshooting challenges as they arise with a solutions-first mindset

Upholding the highest standards of craftsmanship, detail, and client satisfaction

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

Has 5+ years in residential construction, ideally in custom or high-end homes

Understands the pace, precision, and expectations of luxury residential projects

Has experience in estimation and take-offs and with construction management systems such as BuildXact, BuilderTrend etc

Brings outstanding organisational, problem solving & leadership skills to the table

Thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable taking initiative

Is proficient with construction management tools and systems

Great communication skills that will assist in bridging the gap between the Office and Site.

Holds relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., White Card, QBCC etc.)
