General Manager / Construction Manager – Subdivision

Location: North and North Western Suburbs
Full-Time | $200K + | Company Vehicle Provided

Are you an experienced Project Manager or Construction Manager ready to take the next step? Our client is an established Civil Contractor with over 50 years of experience in the civil construction sector and a strong pipeline of subdivison and infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a senior leader to join their team.

The Role

As the General / Construction Manager you will oversee the delivery of multiple civil subdivision projects from the ground up. You will be responsible for strategic planning, leadership, client engagment, budgeting. tendering and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of civil subdivision projects.
• Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, and local authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Ensure all works comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Assist in tendering and business development activities as needed.

About You

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil construction, experience in subdivison is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in managing civil projects from tender to handover.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance operational delivery with strategic decision-making.
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• A results-driven approach with a commitment to safety and excellence.
