The Opportunity

We're seeking a hands-on Accountant who’s ready to make a broad and meaningful contribution to our growing business. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Managing Director, you will manage and guide a small administration team, oversee key financial processes, and help shape our financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and support

Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, KPIs, and business performance dashboards

Manage end-of-month and end-of-financial-year reporting and reconciliations

Lead budgeting and cash flow forecasting

Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll

Maintain compliance through statutory reporting and returns

Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors and banks

Maintain the inventory system and asset register

Drive process improvements and contribute to broader business performance

About You

You bring a mix of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. You’re not just an accountant—you’re a business partner.

You will have:

Proven experience in a similar accounting role (preferably in a SME environment)

Strong background in management and financial accounting

Experience with inventory and business systems

Confidence in financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach

A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or finance

Ideally, a CA, CPA, or IPA certification (or working towards it)
