About the company:
Federal Government department providing valuable mental health services and support to an important part of Australian community including their families. Currently looking for three (3) Senior Customer Service Officer to join their busy team for a 12 months temporary assignment.
About the role:
As a Senior Customer Service Officer, you will provide the front line of customer service for clients accessing mental health services and counselling. This customer service is provided via telephone or in a call centre environment. In addition, your key duties are as follows:
- Resolve client enquiries, provide information and options in accordance with policy and procedures, and refer to relevant service delivery team.
- Provide administrative support across all service delivery streams inclusive of data entry, record keeping, and workflow tasks.
- Deliver correspondence both internally and externally related to client allocations, referrals, appointments, and service satisfaction.
- Provide administrative support to external referral platforms including contracted health providers and external stakeholders.
- Support the daily operations of the region including management of regional correspondence and deliveries, arranging travel, processing invoices, raising resource requests and responding to property and maintenance issues.
About you:
- Previous experience in a customer service, call centre, or similar roles, ideally within the health, mental health, or public sector industry
- Able to multitask and manage own expectations around role and business need.
- A compassionate and caring individual, ideally has lived experience of mental illness
- Organized, methodical, and focused approach in providing support services to people and community
- Able to manage challenging behaviours, manage personal emotions, and demonstrate resilience.
- Excellent internal and external communication skills
Benefits:
- Immediate start (pending Federal Police Check)
- 12 months Temporary assignment
- Full time hours - Monday to Friday - 7.5 hours per day
- Brisbane, QLD location
- $40 - $45 per hour + super
