As our Operations Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our People Operations team, making a real impact every day. Working alongside the National People Operations Manager, you'll help drive key people initiatives across the country — from streamlining admin and supporting recruitment, to keeping us compliant and delivering standout employee experiences. Key Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support to the National People Operations Manager
Manage calendar appointments, meetings, and event scheduling
Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documentation
Assist with the coordination and logistics of training sessions, meetings, and engagement events
Assist with advertising internal vacancies across various job boards and social media platforms
Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers
Support the onboarding process, including preparation of welcome packs and system set-ups
Maintain the candidate database ensuring all information is current and accurate
Assist in the development and implementation of talent attraction and retention initiatives
Support compliance activities including maintaining employee records, certifications, insurances, and other regulatory requirements
Liaise with external suppliers and vendors regarding contract renewals and services as directed
Support people initiatives including employee engagement programs, learning and development scheduling, and rewards and recognition activities.
Assist in organizing staff celebrations including birthdays, anniversaries, and probation completions.
Help develop and maintain people-focused technology tools, websites, and platforms.
Participate in the continuous improvement of processes, systems, and people practices to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative or HR/People Operations support role (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
High level of organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
