About the Position
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the Hotel Services Manager (HSM) position is responsible for ensuring that NoosaCare’s nonclinical services are delivered to an exceptional standard. The HSM will drive the quality and compliance of all hotel services at NoosaCare. The HSM will provide the direct supervision oversight to the catering, laundry/housekeeping and maintenance/property teams to ensure the delivery of quality services the meets and exceeds the recommended standards. This role would be suitable to a dynamic professional, with a hotel services background who is looking to bring their experience into aged care. Supporting the COO and leading these diverse teams, no two days will be the same.
About You
Prior experience managing a team, you will bring enthusiasm and professionalism to the role and be passionate about ensuring the delivery of high-quality support and services for our residents. We are looking for someone that has:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in a hospitality field or Business (or equivalent), along with experience in hotel/hospitality management.
Experience in leading and supervising a multidisciplinary team and ensure they are delivering against KPI’s and legislative requirements.
Support the procurement of high quality and cost-efficient resources and negotiating with suppliers as required.
Possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence high quality outcomes.
Strong understanding and working knowledge of the legislative requirements associated with the provision of hotel services in residential aged care.
Ability and experience in managing and responding to evolving situations.
Experience in supervising employee rostering provisions to ensure coverage across all required hotel services areas.
Maintaining and working within all work health and safety legislation.
Have an eye for detail, brining enthusiasm and a strong work ethic that drives innovative and quality service provision to residents.
Strong customer service, face-to-face and written communication skills.
Qualifications and certifications:
Relevant tertiary qualifications as noted.
Driver’s license
Please note a clear criminal history check is required to be successful in this role and renewed every 3 years.
Hold a food safety supervisor certification (or be willing to obtain)
Right to work in Australia with no restrictions
