The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Aged Care Manager to lead our Aged Care Services team on a 12-month maternity leave cover contract.
This is a pivotal role within our leadership team, where you will oversee the delivery of high-quality, client-centred aged care services. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the latest industry regulations, improving service delivery, and driving continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a dedicated and highly engaged team, working collaboratively to enhance the impact of our services and contribute to our mission of empowering older individuals in our community. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to a well-established community organisation and make a meaningful impact on the lives of older people in our community.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the Aged Care Services team, ensuring high-quality, client-centred care in line with consumer choice principles.
· Oversee client intake, assessment, and service delivery, ensuring a holistic and tailored approach.
· Understand and implement upcoming changes to aged care regulations under the Aged Care Act 2024, ensuring full compliance and effective service delivery.
· Drive a culture of continuous improvement, supporting clinical care excellence and service innovation.
· Monitor and evaluate service effectiveness through data coordination and performance reporting.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, families, and community partners.
· Ensure compliance with aged care standards, funding models, and regulatory requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
· Extensive experience in managing aged care or community-based services, with a strong background in leadership within the sector.
· In-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Act 2024 and upcoming regulatory changes, with the ability to ensure compliance across service delivery.
· Proven experience in managing clinical services, including Commonwealth Home Support Programs and Home Care Packages.
· Expertise in implementing and managing consumer-directed care models and aged care funding reforms.
· Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development, including managing change and fostering a high-performance culture.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Proven ability to manage human, physical, and financial resources effectively in a complex, client-focused environment.
· A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is highly desirable
