Transport Allocator – DJ Bulk Haulage

DJ Bulk Haulage is a trusted name in bulk haulage and heavy transport, specialising in tipper trucks and floats. We’re growing and looking for an experienced Transport Allocator to join our team.

About the Role:

As our new Transport Allocator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and dispatch of our fleet of tippers and floats. You’ll work closely with drivers and clients to ensure efficient transport operations while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Allocate and coordinate float trucks and tippers for jobs

Manage scheduling and dispatch to meet operational requirements

Liaise with drivers and clients to ensure clear communication and smooth operations

Monitor equipment usage and availability to maximise fleet performance

Maintain accurate hire movement records and maintenance schedules

Assist with invoice approvals, processing, and submissions

Ensure compliance with all safety, legislative, and operational procedures

Provide general administrative support to the transport operations team

About You:

Previous experience in a transport allocator/dispatcher role (essential)

Strong organisational and time management skills

Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer savvy

High attention to detail and accuracy

Solid understanding of transport compliance and safety regulations

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve on the go

Location:

You can be based out of either our Mulgrave NSW or Banksmeadow office, depending on what suits you.
