Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to the effective delivery of commercial partnerships portfolio, by assisting cross functional teams through providing advice/direction in relation to financial functions to ensure maximum value and benefit from supplier relationships, in line with relevant Policy and procedures.
- Proactively support senior stakeholders with project requirements, including documentation assistance, reporting within tight timeframes, and monitoring of sensitive issues and ensuring escalation where appropriate.
- Offer confidential, high quality financial and governance support to the Executive Director and Commercial Partnerships team, and maintain sensitive probity management frameworks, exercising discretion at all times.
- Actively develop and review financial and governance processes and systems for improvement opportunities, identify process blockages and work with relevant stakeholders to proactively support resolution and provide more effective and efficient work practices.
- Schedule organise and where necessary attend meetings and working groups, and co-ordinate all necessary financial and governance support for such meetings. Take notes and prepare minutes for distribution if required.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement process documentation, including planning, market approach and evaluation.
- Actively participate in personal performance planning and appraisal through accepting and providing positive and constructive feedback. Undertake training and development opportunities that are identified as necessary to achieve work unit goals and gain awareness of corporate responsibilities through the appropriate induction processes and participation in other relevant programs.
- Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.
Requirements of the role
- Experience in supporting project delivery on projects, which are large and complex involving multiple stakeholders and agencies.
