Operations & Client Success Manager

Full-Time | Melbourne-Based | $85K–$100K + Super + Performance Bonuses | Remote/Hybrid

Lead operations, improve client experience and help grow a fast-moving digital agency that specialises in trades, construction and builders.

We Build Tradies is a Melbourne-born digital marketing agency helping construction businesses stand out online, win better jobs and grow their teams. We offer tailored strategies across social media, paid ads, SEO, websites, and content — all built specifically for the construction industry.

We’re growing fast and now need a strong Operations & Client Success Manager to help us level up how we operate and deliver.

The Role

This is not your average agency gig. You’ll be the operational backbone of the company, working directly with the founder to:

Lead service delivery across all clients

Manage internal workflows, briefs and deadlines

Coordinate our team

Onboard new clients and ensure nothing falls through the cracks

Own client success and retention, making sure every tradie feels supported and heard

Continuously improve how we deliver and scale our services

You’ll be empowered to help build the business from the inside out — with the systems, processes and people that keep our team tight and our clients thriving.

What You'll Be Doing

Oversee daily service delivery across clients

Onboard and support new clients from day one

Coordinate and brief our Social Media, Ads and Content teams

Handle client communications and ensure high satisfaction

Run quarterly strategic performance check-ins with high-value clients

Maintain and improve SOPs, systems and tools

Help run internal team meetings and performance reviews

Proactively identify ways to improve retention, delivery and internal workflows

You Might Be a Great Fit If You...

Have 3–5+ years of experience in digital marketing operations, project/account management, or client services

Have worked in an agency environment and know how to manage multiple clients without dropping the ball

Are proactive, organised and love getting stuff done efficiently

Have a strong grasp of digital marketing (especially social media and ads)

Are a confident communicator who builds great relationships

Have experience managing offshore or remote teams

Are based in Melbourne and comfortable working in a remote/hybrid setup
