Design & Build have partnered with an Australian company established and working on energy transmission and distribution projects nationally, supporting the integration renewable energy such as wind and solar power generation through providing grid stability and energy storage.

Due to growth our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join the team.

As the Project Engineer you will support the execution of various High Voltage and energy projects around Australia.

Due to the nature of the projects, you will be travelling and working on projects outside of Sydney on a FIFO or DIDO roster, so must be willing to work away from home.

• $100-120k + Super (guideline, flexible for the right candidate)

As a Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee projects at all phases (start-up, design, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, completion)
• Provide on-site technical support to the Project Director and project teams.
• Support contract, subcontractor, variations, claims management.
• Project planning, controls and completion

What experience can you bring?

• Degree qualified, ideally in electrical engineering, but open to those with a civil or mechanical degrees.
• Experienced in the construction of HV substations (33kv and upwards)
• Hands on, used to working in small teams, able to adapt to client requirements
• Strong personal values and a team player
• Willingness to travel and work on remote sites
