IGNIS Palm Cove is looking for an exceptional chef able to work in one of the newest dining experiences in FNQ
The Role
The Chef de Partie role supports our Head Chef amongst a small team of kitchen professionals.
In addition to preparing quality cuisine, the role will provide the successful candidate with exposure to menu development, stock ordering and skill development.
The position would suit someone who is passionate and motivated. Wants to work in an interactive fun environment and can work skilfully and independently.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Commis Chef or CDP in a high-quality restaurant.
Expertise in all cooking techniques, flavours, and ingredients.
Skills in food presentation using traditional and modern cooking techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work in a small team environment.
Adaptable to change.
Able and willing to work shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
