About the role

Redlynch Real Estate is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. This is a contract role where you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of residential rental properties, ensuring exceptional service to both tenants and landlords. Employment period will be approximately 90 days.

What you'll be doing

Manage the end-to-end leasing process, including advertising properties, conducting inspections, processing applications and signing new tenants

Oversee the tenancy lifecycle, including conducting routine inspections, managing maintenance and repairs, and addressing tenant inquiries and concerns

Maintain accurate records and documentation, and provide regular reports to landlords

Ensure all properties are well-presented and tenanted.

Enforce lease terms and conditions and handle tenant disputes.

Maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and tradespeople

Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry best practices

What we're looking for

Minimum one year experience in a property management role in the residential sector

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Sound knowledge of residential tenancy legislation and property management best practices

Proficient in using property management software and Microsoft Office applications

A current real estate certificate
