About the role

Britek Automotive is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team in Bentley Park, QLD. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers' cars are running safely and efficiently. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a small business.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in a variety of vehicles

Performing scheduled maintenance, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tune-ups

Conducting vehicle inspections and providing detailed reports to customers

Rebuilding engines and Gearboxes

Collaborating with the workshop team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols

Staying up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and industry best practices

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Mechanic in an automotive workshop or dealership

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues

Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and provide clear explanations of work performed

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

A valid driver's licence and your own tools
