About the role

Join the dynamic team at Palm Beach Motors as a full-time Mechanic. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our valued customers. As an integral part of our Automotive Trades team, you will work in our well-equipped workshop located in the heart of Palm Beach, Gold Coast.

What you'll be doing

Conducting routine maintenance, logbook services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations

Performing complex repairs such as timing belts, water pump, clutch replacement and so on.

Diagnosing and repairing faults in vehicles using the latest tools and equipment

Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and parts used

Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a tidy, organised work environment

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics, minimum cert 3

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a qualified Mechanic

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
