MECHANICAL TECHNICIANS & TRADES ASSISTANTS

The Lift Group have been trading for 20 years and has established a leading position in the Australian market, specialising in the supply of new Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs) and Crane Borers, including servicing and ongoing maintenance. We also specialise in carrying out 10 year major re-builds and are seeking new staff to join out team in 2025.

Job Description

We are looking for motivated Mechanical Technicians and Trade Assistants to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing plant and equipment. This role requires a degree of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in conjunction with other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and repair plant and equipment according to specifications and technical drawings.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety of machinery.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing effective and timely solutions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, and manuals.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
• problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Forklift ticket would be an advantage.
