About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate early childhood education professional to join Applecross Pre Kindy as the Centre Director. As the Centre Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are provided to the children in our vibrant Applecross-based community.

What you'll be doing

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the centre's operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance

Implement our engaging educational program that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2-6 years

Manage and develop a team of dedicated early childhood educators, supporting their growth

Build and maintain strong relationships with families, and the local community

Ensure the centre operates in compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and policies

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Centre Director or in a senior early childhood leadership role

Diploma leve qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and ability to implement best practice, whilst mainitain the ethos of the school

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, families, and staff

Proven leadership and management skills, including experience in leading a team and overseeing centre operations

Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences
