Centre Director – Mathnasium Learning Centre

At Mathnasium, we make maths make sense to kids — and we do it in a fun, encouraging environment that helps them build confidence, skills, and a genuine love for learning.

We’re on the lookout for a Centre Director to lead our brand new Bentleigh East centre. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people, especially kids and parents, and wants to make a real difference every day. You'll be the go-to person for families, the leader of a great team, and the friendly, welcoming face of the centre.

What the Role Looks Like

As Centre Director, you’ll manage day-to-day operations and create a warm, supportive space where kids feel safe to learn and parents feel confident in the process. You’ll keep things running smoothly, support your team, and build great relationships with families.

A few things you’ll be doing:

Greeting families and making them feel at home

Chatting with parents about how their child is doing

Managing staff and keeping sessions running smoothly

Introducing new families to the program

Handling a bit of admin behind the scenes

Helping spread the word about Mathnasium in the community

Hours

This is a Monday–Friday role, 12:00pm–7:30pm.

Are friendly, confident, and love working with people

Have great communication and customer service skills

Enjoy working with kids and their families

Are organised and reliable

Are confident with maths (up to Algebra I or higher)

Have some leadership or management experience

Bonus points if you’ve worked in education or know your way around QuickBooks!
