Our client is a respected HR consultancy with over 30 years of combined expertise, providing tailored solutions to clients big and small in industries such as NDIS, manufacturing, construction, and NGOs. About the Role:
As an HR Advisor, you will work directly with clients to develop policies, interpret legislation, and implement best-practice HR frameworks. Reporting to the Director, you’ll play a key role in elevating client workplaces by addressing performance management, compliance, and employee engagement. The ultimate goal is to refine their HR practices and help them attract, retain, and develop top talent.

What We Need from You:

  • Craft tailored HR policies aligned with industry standards and legislation.
  • Advise clients on ER, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Interpret and apply Fair Work Act, Award standards, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Guide clients through disciplinary processes, KPIs, and improvement plans.
  • Build trust with clients to drive HR initiatives and cultural change.
  • Tackle complex HR challenges with pragmatic, compliant solutions.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3+ years in HR advisory or generalist roles, ideally within NDIS, construction, or manufacturing.
  • Proven experience writing policies and embedding HR frameworks in SMEs.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, awards, and modern agreements.
  • Ability to translate legislation into actionable business practices.
  • Confidence advising leaders on performance, misconduct, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field (essential).
