Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of $125,693 - $138,510per annum plus superannuation
Ongoing role based in Sydney CBD, NSW
Hybrid work environment, 3 days minimum in the office per week.
About the role
In this newly created role, you will play a key role in the development and management of finance policies and accounting policy guidance that enables strategic decision-making and drives efficient operations. Your expertise in technical accounting will be essential in providing high-quality advice, preparing technical position papers and policy positions, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

About You
You are a highly skilled and experienced finance professional, CA or CPA qualified, with a strong background in the interpretation and development of finance policies. You have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, and you are someone who values integrity, transparency, and collaboration.
You thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Your deep knowledge of accounting standards and finance policies, combined with your ability to solve complex and sensitive issues will be key to your ultimate success in this role.
In addition, we are looking for someone with the following experience:
Strong technical accounting skills, with the ability to develop and clearly articulate complex accounting issues to a variety of stakeholders
Experience partnering with and advising Executives and senior managers, with the ability to influence decision-making in a complex financial governance environment
Proactive approach to driving innovation and continuous improvement in financial reporting, systems and processes
Tertiary qualifications in accountancy, commerce, finance or relevant discipline.
CA and/or CPA qualified
