They are currently seeking an experienced Transport and Cartage Coordinator to join their team.

Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, your responsibilities will encompass, but not be limited to:

• Monitoring and tracking various shipments to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Accurate and timely entry of shipment data and updates
• Efficiently planning door-to-door routes at a competitive cost.
• Supporting destination branch operations by capturing and conveying precise shipment details through the system. This includes contact information for delivery points, special handling requirements for value-added services, relevant shipment documentation, and cost details for delivery and other destination services.
• Meeting Key Performance Indicator (KPI) standards in alignment with company and product procedures.
• Upholding the company's cultural values and policies.
• Engaging with customers through phone and email communication.
• Daily interaction with transport carriers.
• Managing transportation delays, shortages, discrepancies, and any other delivery challenges that may arise.

To be eligible for this role, you should demonstrate:

• A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in transport or cartage coordination.
• Proficiency in dealing with internal and external stakeholders, including transport companies and direct customer interactions.
• Prior experience in freight forwarding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software.
