The Opportunity

The Challenge

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will involve but not be limited to:

• Working closely with lawyers and partners to ensure trust and CMA requirements and timeframes are met
• Recording daily trust account and CMA transactions, including receipts, payments and transfers
• Reviewing and authorising PEXA transactions
• Opening and closing CMAs and working with the bank
• Providing trust account and CMA statements to clients as required
• Completing monthly trust reconciliation reporting in a timely manner
• Other ad hoc tasks and projects as requested by the CFO or Financial Controller.

The Expertise

• Prior experience in an trust or accounts position in a professional services firm.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with internal departments and external parties
• Great attention to detail with a commitment to delivering excellent results and high-quality work
• Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving discrepancies and improving processes
• Experience working collaboratively in a finance team environment
