About the Role

Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic Revenue & Accounts Receivable expert to lead and enhance our debtor and invoicing functions.

Reporting directly to the CFO and alongside the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• The management & ownership of all expected BAU activities relating to debtors (and related cashflow)
• Working collaboratively with other departments to achieve desired outcomes relating to minimising overdue/outstanding payments, minimising risk for the business
• Business Partnering – taking non-finance minded colleagues on the journey, helping them understand the ‘why’ and achieving alignment with policy and strategic goals
• Maintain, monitor and establish controls relating to debtor management
• Maintain oversight over BAU Accounts Receivable activities relating to billing, direct debits, always with a continuous improvement lens – identifying opportunities for automation or simplification
• Work with internal policy and procedure decision makers to enhance, improve and streamline existing practices

About You

• An intuitive, curious approach to your role coupled with the ability to ask the right questions
• High level attention to detail
• A natural problem solver – solutions mindset to all things
• Clear, confident communication style – written, verbal, face-to-face (physical or virtual, i.e. Teams)
• Collaborative and adept at explaining Accounts Receivable technical data and concepts to people not familiar with the subject matter
• Demonstrable experience in management roles where accounts receivable, financial accounting and reporting were core functions of your role
• Highly organised and able to understand and determine priorities based on team objectives, targets and goals

Essential

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent relevant experience in a management/senior role relating to revenue & accounts receivable
• High level experience with ERP systems
• Experience with Netsuite would be highly regarded, but not essential
• Advanced Excel capabilities — confident with formulas, structuring data, reporting, and data insights
• Proven success in implementing change and managing end-to-end projects
