Your new role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be a vital point of contact for clients, providing phone-based consultations and support. Your role will involve identifying client needs, addressing their concerns, and referring them to the team responsible for setting them up with appropriate support plans. This multi-faceted role requires you to work in a strengths-based, customer-focused manner, handling various administrative tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and coordination of services. You will also liaise with a wide range of partner organisations and internal stakeholders to raise awareness of the services offered and ensure a seamless customer experience.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience, or a relevant qualification in Community / Health Services, Social Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience in a customer-focused role.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several priorities and actions.
  • Experience engaging with diverse individuals and communities, including Aboriginal, CaLD, LGBTIQA+, and people with disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated experience in administration and business processes, including fast and accurate data entry, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and customised client databases.
