About This Opportunity
The Library Technician provides support to the Library Program Leader by assisting with functioning and daily operations of the library, and supervision of students before and/or after school.

Full-time or part-time, term-time, fixed-term contract ending Thursday 4 December 2025
You must be available to work Tuesday to Friday
Varying start times to cover Library opening hours of 7:30 am to 5:00 pm (hours as negotiated)
Hourly base rate $35.9079 - $37.0368 + 12.75% superannuation + leave loading
Based in Indooroopilly, close to public transport and ample free parking
As the appointment is a term-time only position, working term-time plus 3 weeks (approximately 40 weeks), all non-term times are taken as leave without pay other than the period of annual leave, which is taken during the Christmas school holiday period.

About You
To be successful in the role you will have:
A valid Queensland Working with Children Check Positive Paid Employee Notice
An ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
An ability to prioritize tasks and strong organisational skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Highly developed interpersonal skills
Some knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Some knowledge of Oliver or equivalent Library Management System
