About the Role:

We’re looking for a stand-alone Payroll Manager to take full ownership of the end-to-end payroll function and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll across ANZ. You’ll also lead a major systems project as the business migrates to Dayforce.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Accurately processing fortnightly payroll, including leave, pay adjustments, LSL, redundancies, and back payments
• Minimising errors and express payments by refining payroll processes and controls
• Completing monthly payroll tax returns and superannuation payments
• Preparing payroll tax rebates and supporting the finance team with month-end reporting
• Managing end-of-month, end-of-year, and EOFY payroll tasks
• Actioning contractual changes (e.g. promotions, demotions, transfers) in line with Awards
• Staying up to date with payroll legislation, Awards, superannuation, and tax requirements
• Providing internal payroll reporting
• Maintaining and improving payroll systems, ensuring accurate award rate setup
• Supporting audit processes and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and safety standards

About You:

• Dayforce experience is essential
• Proven experience managing payroll in a multi-site environment
• Already operating at Payroll Manager level, or ready to step up
• Confident interpreting awards, and across superannuation and tax legislation
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
