Randstad is proud to be exclusively partnering with our client who are a reputable and growing national business. They are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager or an experienced Payroll Team Leader who is ready to step-up to lead their payroll team of 6.

About the role:

You will be responsible for leading a team of 5 who process the pays for 3000 employees. Your duties will include:

• Lead and oversee all payroll operations
• Ensure all pay run activities are executed in accordance with legislative, regulatory and award requirements (including tax, superannuation, STP) with strict adherence to timing and accuracy
• Implement and deliver pay compliance reporting
• Coach and mentor direct reports to deliver best practice payroll and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Lead and coach performance, development, and day-to-day operations for the payroll team
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders

About you:

You are an experienced Payroll Manager or Payroll Team Leader ready to step up with exceptional people leadership skills. In addition, you have:

• 3+ years of experience in a leadership position
• 10+ years experience of dedicated payroll experience
• Experience managing a payroll of at least 1000 employees
• Experience using a large system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Full and unlimited Australian working rights
