PURCHASING OFFICER
Powerwest is offering an opportunity to work with its family-owned power generation operations, maintaining the parts store. You will be responsible for placing orders, checking inwards and outwards movements of stores and parts, maintaining appropriate stock levels, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the store function.
We are looking for a self-starter with purchasing experience, initiative and well developed computer skills using MS Office with preference given to applicants with experience using MEX and who are well organized.
The position is based in Maddington and free onsite parking is available.
The position would suit a person who has mechanical or electrical store experience / aptitude who has had experience purchasing, arranging transport of goods to site and managing component stock for the mechanical/electrical workshop. This is a full time position working 42.5 hours per week 0700-1600 Monday to Friday.
