The Role:

Our client is a reputable FMCG organisation on the lookout for their next Head of Data and Analytics to lead their data strategy and drive business growth through data-driven insights and solutions. Leading up a team of 8-9 and managing external vendors.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and coordinate a team of data and analytics professionals to provide exceptional internal customer service;
• Drive the execution of the Group Data Strategy through data management excellence and business engagement, ensuring strategic alignment between the transformation team, IT delivery, and business needs;
• Provide technology delivery advice and guidance to executive stakeholders;
• Build and manage a BI/data team (or external partner model) to effectively deliver business outcomes overall IT and business strategies;
• Guide the architectural governance processes, setting standards and policies for system architecture;
• Plan and manage resources and budgets for the Data and Analytics team, optimising for efficiency and effectiveness; and
• Support the development and execution of the organisations ' AI Strategy through data.

About you:

• You will have than 10 years in Data & Analytics, with more than 5 years’ experience in Leadership positions within Data.

Technical proficiencies required for this role:

• Data visualisation tools & Data warehousing and big data technologies;
• SQL and database management;
• Statistical analysis and modelling;
• Programming languages (Python, R, etc.);
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); and
• Data governance and MDM solutions.
