About the role:

Reporting to the Commercial Division Manager, we are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified Account Manager to join the Finsura team in a full-time capacity. This role is in the General Insurance team.

The primary responsibility is to assist Finsura in reaching its business objectives by managing an existing portfolio of SMEs, retail and domestic clients and developing new business. You will take complete ownership of client relationships, helping them find the right insurance solutions to meet their needs and providing quality service in accordance with the company standards.

This role would suit someone who is ready for their next career move to take on the task of managing your own portfolio of small to medium commercial and domestic clients. This is predominantly an office-based role and all correspondence with clients will be managed remotely.

Essential skills, experience and competencies:

Experience in managing an assigned portfolio of SMEs, retail and domestic, engaging through various channels to provide exceptional customer service.

Providing business quotes to new and existing clients and assisting them to meet their needs and requirements.

Negotiate terms and conditions for new business, endorsements, and renewals.

Ensure that the provision of financial services to clients comply with the Code of Practice, relevant statutory and industry requirements and codes.

Highly developed written communications skills with the ability to maintain strong attention to detail.

Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative, accurate, and positive manner.

Ability to prioritise, organise and complete work within established deadlines, and maintain a consistent level of professionalism.

Ability to work effectively within a remote team environment and to also work unsupervised.

Committed and driven to achieve high-level service.

High-level proficiency with office technology and in the use of Microsoft Office products.

Qualifications

FSRA Qualification: Financial Services – Insurance Broking Tier 1 OR

Tier 2 qualification with the willingness to obtain a Tier 1 qualification.

There is an expectation that you will comply with any reasonable health and safety policy or procedure and participate in meetings, training, and other relevant activities.
