Ready for a new challenge? Join a growing team as an Account Manager managing a dynamic portfolio in a thriving, fast-paced brokerage!

We’re looking for an Account Manager to take on an exciting and diverse portfolio across construction, civil, tech, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors. This role is available due to an internal resignation, with the employee moving overseas to work in the London market. You’ll work closely with a Partner and experienced Account Managers to service and grow the book, ensuring excellent client outcomes.

You’ll be joining a well-regarded, independent brokerage based in North Sydney. This business is known for its commitment to client service, expertise across various industries, and a collaborative internal culture. You’ll manage a portfolio of SME to mid-market clients, backed by a team of experienced professionals who provide ongoing support and development.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of SME to mid-market clients across various industries
  • Support the Partner and team in managing client relationships and insurance placements
  • Drive client retention and provide high-quality service to long-standing accounts
  • Facilitate placements, liaising with insurers to secure the best terms for clients
  • Collaborate with the broader team to meet client needs and drive portfolio growth


What do you need?

  • Experience in insurance broking, ideally within SME or corporate portfolios
  • Relevant Tier 1 qualifications or equivalent
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse range of clients and work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of insurer markets and policy wordings
  • Proactive and client-focused approach to account management
