We have an opportunity for experienced Sous Chef to join the team.
Venue
The Coats Group has just opened their new flagship venue; Penelope. A bistro & bar on James Street, inspired by European supper clubs. Our bistro-inspired menu serves dishes that evoke nostalgia and puts excellent produce at its core. The menu includes bar snacks and small plates designed to be shared socially or, indulge in the larger plates to upscale your dining experience.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and focused chef to join our team.
The Applicant Must Be:
- Capable of delivering a high-level product to create a positive guest experience
- Able to maintain excellent mise en place and manage your section autonomously
- Committed to developing a strong understanding of the restaurant’s concepts and menus
- Strong in communication with a positive attitude
- Curious for knowledge and growth
- Able to work well under pressure
- Willing to collaborate with other cooks in a team environment
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Senior CDP.
- Dedicated and take pride in their work
- Appreciative of quality and pay close attention to detail
