FourQuarters are partnering with a fantastic Australian not for profit business who are currently seeking for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our client are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join the fantastic payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely payroll operations while supporting broader payroll projects across the organisation.

The role:

• Managing end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse and dedicated workforce
• Administering the payroll system including data integrity, calculations, and reporting
• Liaising with HR and management to resolve payroll-related queries
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, awards, and company policies
• Preparing payroll reports, managing tax obligations, and assisting with ad-hoc payroll projects
• Supporting and mentoring the payroll team as a go-to resource and team lead when needed

The successful candidate:

• Proven experience in payroll operations, with strong award and enterprise agreement interpretation
• Familiarity with PayGlobal software (highly regarded)
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across departments
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance
