The Role:

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, ensuring consistent and reliable service
• Process accurate and timely payroll for contractors from start to finish
• Manage all associated statutory requirements including superannuation, payroll tax, and compliance obligations
• Onboarding processes for both contractors and internal employees
• Act as a key point of contact for payroll and timesheet-related queries from clients and contractors
• Support the documentation of workflows and help identify areas for process enhancement
• Assist with general bookkeeping duties for clients when required
• Ensure all payroll activities meet current legislation and company compliance standards

The Candidate:

• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing contractor payroll in a fast-paced environment
• Solid understanding of Modern Awards and state/industry-specific employment regulations
• High level of accuracy and a sharp eye for detail
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident using a range of payroll and accounting software, along with advanced Excel and Word skills
