About the role

Sprouts School of Early Learning - Margaret River is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Room Leader. This is a full-time role based in our state-of-the-art facility in Margaret River, Western Australia.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and inspire a team of early childhood educators to deliver exceptional care and educational experiences for children aged 0-5 years
• Plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate educational programs that foster children's learning and development
• Ensure a safe, nurturing and engaging environment that supports children's wellbeing and meets all regulatory requirements
• Build strong relationships with families and collaborate with them to support each child's individual needs
• Mentor and coach junior educators, fostering their professional growth and development
• Maintain accurate records and complete required administrative tasks
• Actively participate in continuous improvement and team meetings

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Early Childhood Educator, with demonstrated success in a room leader or supervisory role
• Thorough knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships with children and families
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
• Valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
