About the role

As a QC Lab Technician at Abinitio Pharma, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our pharmaceutical products. In this full-time position based in Camperdown, NSW, you will be responsible for conducting a range of tests and analyses to verify the integrity and compliance of our manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

Performing routine quality control tests and analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products

Documenting and reporting all test results in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines

Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results

Collaborating with the production team to investigate and resolve any quality-related issues that arise

Adhering to all laboratory safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work environment

Providing technical support and training to other members of the quality assurance team as needed

Carry-out Enviromental Monitoring

What we're looking for

A diploma or degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as chemistry, biology, or pharmaceutical sciences

Working experience in a quality control laboratory in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is advantageous

Proficiency in conducting a variety of analytical techniques, including spectroscopy, chromatography, and microbiology testing, is advantageous

Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address quality issues

Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant regulatory guidelines

Candidates need to be flexible on working hours based on business requirements
