The Indigenous Engagement Division at CQUniversity is responsible for providing scholarly leadership and contributing to teaching excellence in Australian First Nations studies. This includes supporting curriculum and professional development and offering expert advice across faculties and divisions.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our academic community as an Associate Lecturer at the Townsville campus. In this key role, you will help shape the future of First Nations teaching, learning, and research.
Your primary responsibilities will include delivering lectures and tutorials, supporting research activities, and contributing to projects that enhance CQUniversity’s reputation as a leader in First Nations education. You will also work collaboratively with academic teams to review and improve teaching and learning practices.

Position Requirements
A four-year tertiary qualification or equivalent, such as an honours degree, extended professional degree, or a three-year degree with a postgraduate diploma.
Experience in teaching, research, or professional practice, including contributions to publications, conference papers, or technical reports.
Ability to support research, scholarship, and engagement activities within the Office of Indigenous Engagement.
Ability to deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and graduate diploma levels.
Strong communication skills with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
