About the role

Strike 1 Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate and experienced Civil Construction Trainer and Assessor to join our team in Adelaide, SA. As a full-time Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to learners in the civil construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development and upskilling of the local workforce.

What you'll be doing

Developing and delivering engaging training programs on a range of civil construction topics

Conducting competency-based assessments to evaluate learners' skills and knowledge

Providing individualised support and feedback to learners to help them achieve their learning goals

Maintaining accurate training and assessment records in accordance with regulatory requirements

Collaborating with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure training content is up-to-date and relevant

Continuously improving training materials and methods to enhance the learner experience

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in training and assessment, such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Extensive experience in the civil construction industry, with a solid understanding of construction practices and regulations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to adapt training to individual learner needs

Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve training and assessment goals
