We’re a small, capable team ready to level up. We’re now seeking someone with experience in more structured, professional environments to help transition Metro Deco from a small business to a more systemised, corporate-level operation.

The Role

We’re looking for a confident, detail-oriented Project Manager who can coordinate multiple jobs while helping streamline the way we operate. You’ll work across both office and site (approx. 65% office / 35% site), supporting everything from material ordering to subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule subcontractors across multiple projects

Measure up drawings and site dimensions to order materials

Liaise with joinery teams, suppliers, and offshore estimating/admin staff

Answer site-based questions and troubleshoot issues

Conduct regular site visits and ensure timelines are maintained

Work closely with directors to improve job tracking and internal systems

What You’ll Bring

3–5+ years in commercial fitout, construction, or interiors

Experience in structured/corporate construction environments

Strong understanding of drawings and material coordination

Clear communication skills with trades, suppliers, and internal teams

Confident with spreadsheets, job tracking software, and email

Driver’s licence

Nice to Have:

Background in joinery, carpentry, or estimating

Experience working with offshore teams

Chinese language skills (spoken or written)
