About the opportunity
We are seeking an empathetic, detail-oriented communicator to join our team. You will assist clients in selecting prepaid, direct cremation, memorial, or funeral services through Willed, providing care and guidance.
As the first point of contact for new and existing customers, you'll handle incoming calls and build strong relationships to meet and exceed sales targets. Success in this role requires excellent customer service, product knowledge, and credibility.
It’s all in a day’s work when you’re part of the team at Willed. On any given day you will:
Respond to inbound calls and online enquiries from prospective clients in need for a prepaid service or an imminent or urgent requirement for a direct cremation, funeral or memorial services, successfully converting these opportunities.
Working with our vendors to arrange transferring loved ones into our care
Collaborating closely with the funeral arranging team to ensure a smooth and respectful continuity of service
Actively build on your knowledge of our services available to prospective clients to provide them with the most accurate information
Follow up with previous client enquiries in a professional and sales-driven manner.
Manage existing customer enquiries
Utilise and maintain our CRM
This is a full-time position (Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs). Candidates based in Melbourne are preferred, as occasional in-person attendance at services or customer meetings may be required to represent Willed.
About You
You are an exceptional communicator with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A true team player, you're eager to make this role your own and become a passionate ambassador for the Willed brand.
You may have prior experience in the funeral industry or an empathy-driven role. Alternatively, you might have a proven track record in inbound sales or have worked in a high-energy call center, where customer interaction and service excellence are essential.

Genuine Passion for Helping Others: A strong desire to assist individuals from all walks of life, particularly during their most vulnerable times, by providing compassionate care and exceptional customer service to ensure peace of mind.
Adaptability in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting. You will need to handle a variety of customer inquiries and adjust to different situations quickly.
Tech-Savvy and Process-Oriented: Comfortable using a wide range of technologies, and dedicated to following established processes to ensure accurate and efficient outcomes.
Quick to Learn New Skills and Processes: Ability to quickly pick up new tools, technologies, and procedures as needed. A proactive learner who is adaptable to change and open to acquiring new competencies.
