Firbank Grammar School is seeking a highly enthusiastic and motivated teaching professional to join our Turner House (Brighton) campus as our Junior School Music Teacher, in a fixed term maternity leave cover position. This is a fixed-term, full-time (1.0FTE) role at our Brighton Turner House Junior Campus, commencing August 11th, 2025, and concluding on December 12th, 2025.

• Demonstrate a passion for teaching

• Teach in a way that enables all students to succeed
• Provide an appropriate role model for students in terms of punctuality, dress and conduct
• Observe safe work practices, maintain a safe and supportive environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current VIT registration
• Appropriate teaching qualification
• First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Be an exceptional team player
• Great communicator, with exceptional listening skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
