An exciting opportunity exists at St Joseph’s Primary School, Charlton, for a suitably qualified classroom teacher.

This position is contracted for an immediate start, for the remainder of the 2025 school year, from a minimum of four mornings (9am-12:30pm) to a full time position.

Both experienced teachers and graduates are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will:

· Demonstrate meaningful and committed relationships with students and staff and show a commitment to our faith community.

· Demonstrate exemplary teaching practices using effective, research-based learning and teaching approaches.

· Demonstrate an openness to work as part of a collaborative team and the ability to work individually.

· Maintain a child safe environment in which students feel safe, empowered and listened to.

· Encouraging students to develop the skills to be self-responsible learners and problem solvers.

· Be committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and uphold Child safety and the Child Safety Standards (Ministerial Order 1359).
